Established in 2016. WHAT?! Ugh, we're old.

YOOO. We're a fly fishing podcast based in Ontario, Canada.

We drive a lot to go fishing and wanted something to listen to. Figured others were the same, so we made a podcast. This was before EVERYONE had a podcast, ok? Since then, So Fly has taken us around the world, introduced us to wonderful people. Literally been a dream come true. Thanks for listening!

Mitch Duesling

Mitch grew up fishing in and around Ottawa, Ontario. His first fish on the fly was a walleye in Eastern Ontario.

If Mitch were a fly, he'd be a Lady Caroline.

Aldo Pescatore-Tardioli

Aldo, also originally from Ottawa, learned to fly fish on the rivers that ran through the city.

If Aldo were a fly, he'd be an Ausable Wulff.

So Fly has become so much more than us.

The crew first met Aidas in 2019 - he had never casted a fly rod. Never. He joined So Fly on a trip to Mexico, and fell in love with all things fly.

Joel first worked with So Fly on the 2018 shoot in Indiana. He's an amazing photographer and has recently begun producing more motion.
