Hello, we are So Fly.

A fly fishing podcast based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

We started in 2016, wanting to create a podcast for anglers like us - friendly, welcoming anglers who quite simply love fun.

Since then, So Fly has taken us around the world, introduced us to wonderful people, and given us the chance to dive into the 'why' people are so passionate about this thing called fly fishing.

We're not a tips and tricks show - but you'll probably find a few helpful hints in here.

Mitch Duesling

Mitch grew up fishing in and around Ottawa, Ontario. His first fish on the fly was a walleye in Eastern Ontario.

If Mitch was a fly, he'd be a Lady Caroline.

Aldo Pescatore-Tardioli

Aldo, also originally from Ottawa, learned to fly fish on the rivers that ran through the city.

If Aldo was a fly, he'd be an Ausable Wulff.

So Fly has become so much more than Mitch and Aldo. It's a community of talented, driven, smart, kind friends. You can hear them all on the podcast from time-to-time.

The crew first met Aidas in 2019 - he had never casted a fly rod. Never. He joined So Fly on a trip to Mexico, and fell in love with all things fly.

If Aidas was a fly, he'd be a Slumpbuster.

Joel first worked with So Fly on the 2018 shoot in Indiana. He's an amazing photographer and has recently begun producing more motion.

Demiesha is a community builder, public speaker, equity seeking consultant and lover of all things nature. We looove adventuring together.

If Demeisha was a fly, she'd be a Zebra Midge.

Andy's extensive background as a commercial photographer means he regularly needs to interpret a brand and fan base he might not be part of. We've learned so much from Andy, who is also an incredible

travel buddy. If he was a fly, he'd be Squirmy Worm.

Nick is a truly fantastic fly angler and tier - one of the fishiest folk So Fly has ever met. He's put in some serious time on the waters of Ontario.

Mitch doesn't fly fish, he has a wealth of outdoor experience. He's a licensed back country canoe, white water, and paddle guide.
