THE SO FLY CREW
Mitch grew up fishing in and around Ottawa, Ontario. His first fish on the fly was a walleye in Eastern Ontario. He loves a good interview and strives to create a podcast platform where people's passions and emotions can flow in conversation, boundlessly. These days you can find Mitch tossing dries on a bamboo rod, smoking a pipe, looking for the beefiest trout in his local rivers around Toronto.
If Mitch was a fly, he'd be an Adams.
Yilma was born in Trinidad, and learned to spin fish in Ontario after moving here as a kid. He got into fly fishing later in life, but has since travelled the world looking for epic moments reeling in fish with friends. Although he's fallen in love with Northern Ontario, he's most at home on the flats, in the tightest bathing suit you've ever seen. Yilma's love for design comes through in everywhere So Fly shows up.
If Yilma was a fly, he'd be a Clouser Minnow.
Aldo Pescatore - Tardioli
Aldo, also originally from Ottawa, learned to fly fish on the rivers that ran through the city. His love for fishing and the outdoors flourished when he met Mitch and Yilma in 2017. He joined So Fly and has since explored all over the world, chasing experiences and moments in exceptional places. Aldo is the engine that keeps So Fly steaming ahead smoothly. These days, Aldo chases anything that swims, with an increasing focus on the warm, beautiful, salty regions of the globe.
If Aldo was a fly, he'd be an Ausable Wulff.

Photographer & Videographer
Joel first worked with So Fly on the 2018 shoot in Indiana. He's an amazing photographer and has recently begun producing more motion. He calls Squamish home and spends his free time swinging rivers for coho, bull trout, and steelhead with his dog by his side.
If Joel was a fly, he'd be an Intruder.
Photographer & Guest Host
The crew first met Aidas in 2019 - he had never casted a fly rod. Never. He joined So Fly on a trip to Mexico, and fell in love with all things fly.
Today he regularly finds himself standing in rivers fiddling with tippet, hooking into monster fish, and likely wondering how the heck he got there at all.
If Aidas was a fly, he'd be a Slumpbuster.
Photographer, BTS Coverage
Andy's extensive background as a commercial photographer means he regularly needs to interrupt a brand and fan base he might not be part of. Although he doesn't fish, he gets it. And you can see his unique perspective in his So Fly work. The team has learned so much from Andy, who also makes for one incredible
If Andy was a fly, he'd be a Sex Dungeon.

Nick is a truly fantastic fly angler and tier. He is one of the fishiest folk So Fly has ever met, and has put in some serious time on the waters of Ontario, and beyond. He also captures beautiful imagery, in the form of frozen moments otherwise knowns as photos. He's a blast to travel with and always has a tip on how to hook the big one.
If Nick was a fly, he'd be a Gamechanger.
